Although I’ve repeatedly used the word “blog” in my services and samples, I understand that a little whimsy carries the day. So, allow me to introduce my “Insights from Jacquie,” where I hope to teach and inspire you with informal posts about writing, editing and communications, along with some fun, random stuff that happens to be on my mind.

In this first installment, I want to focus on life <bring down lights>. Vulnerability, more specifically. For anyone who wants to start their own business — really, anything new — vulnerability looms large. Despite my months of hard work and my great confidence in my ability to help you achieve wonderful things, I had questions before I launched: What if my site doesn’t function properly? What if the entire LinkedIn platform goes down on the day I announce my venture? What if I fail? What if I succeed?

Putting yourself out there can be soooo not fun. But it’s how you grow and improve and do something grand.

I thank you for reading and helping me embark on my journey. I also hope you’ll allow yourself to be vulnerable and embark on your own!
